Pre Purchase Car Inspections by CMT.
Make sure your inspector is registered in the consumer protection department of Dade (MVR #) .
A car cannot be fully diagnosed using just a scanner. The “inspectors” who say they do are lying to you. Ask any professional mechanic about this.
CMT offers a professional pre purchase automotive service.
When you decide to buy a used vehicle you need to give us a call so we can come and check it to make sure it is in good condition. Don’t buy before we check. You will save by having a report of the car’s condition and being able to negotiate the price of the same. We check the car from bumper to bumper, if it has been under water, in an accident or has mechanical problems we can tell you for your peace of mind. Believe me you need our services. Most people will tell you their car is perfect, we will make sure for you.
A Carfax report is not enough; you need our services for a complete report of the car.
We do inspections for people buying out of state too.
Don’t buy a lemon.
Be careful of low priced inspections, most likely you won’t get a complete inspection and a report. We probably charge more but we also give you more, and we’ll be there when promised.
Other times an inspection is a good idea are: When you are returning a leased car, when you had the car repaired and need a second opinion, when you are going on a trip just for your peace of mind.

Some very important facts you should know about used cars.
• There is about $35 billion on repairs spent each year on cars (body work) and about 40% of them are repaired to less than perfect condition.
• About 50% of lease returned and resold vehicles are supposed to have tampered odometers.
• About one of five vehicles in the road have been rebuilt from the salvage yard.
• 90% of cars in the road have been neglected.
Maintenance has not been done on those cars properly.
• Every year rebuilders put about 400,000 cars back on the road with out proper inspection from the state or a qualified inspector.
